LICHA's pad project provides reusable feminine sanitary pads, underwear, and other menstrual health items; along with menstrual health education, at no cost, to economically challenged Kenyan women and girls. Without these free pads those in need would otherwise be forced to use make-do substances to inadequately manage their cycles; thus, each month risk infections and school and work absenteeism. This Pad Project fundraiser is supporting 100% school attendance for girls in Kisumu & Makueni, Kenya.
