DIGNIFIED MENSTRUAL CARE - LICHA's Menstrual Health project provides reusable feminine sanitary pads, underwear, and other menstrual health items; along with menstrual health education, at no cost, to economically challenged Kenyan women and girls. Without these free pads those in need would otherwise be forced to use make-do substances to inadequately manage their cycles; thus, each month risk infections and school and work absenteeism.
